I have a used Italian threaded 7700 BB that came in a used frame I bought. It was smooth when I took it out. I'm in the U.S., though. PM me if you're interested.

I've got one you can have for a £12 posted.

Its virtually new bearings are smooth as ,the only problem is the bike monkey that removed it didnt have the proper tool so a couple of the lugs on one side are a bit chewed.
