I just picked up this beefy bash guard. It appears to be machined out of a solid sheet and not pressed.

I couldn't find a WTB advert. I wish I would have. I don't know what I'll use them for now. The cranks on the bike I wanted to put this on are 94 bcd and not 110 like I thought. All my ugly deore lx cranks are 110 and the one clean set is the 563 94 bcd. Shouldn't have assumed...
It doesn't look like a rock ring that I've seen. It's pretty burly and it is definitely machined. And it's way nicer than Rock Rings. Probably just a small company lost to the sands of time.
I've never seen a RR like that. I've only seen the cheesey ones. It sure is close enough. Maybe just a different model? Mine is hard to fit with a outer chain ring. Wonder if it's a downhill one for a single chain ring???
