Bare metal finish - clear top coat?

$200 for powder coating :shock:

I was quoted 30 pounds (about $44) to powder coat my frame and forks if I prept it ready.

Dave Yates did mine a few years back, strip frame back to bare metal, silver powdercoat and lacquer. £70 all in.

But now I can get the same for £35 (but paint, not powdercoat) elsewhere (Belmont Metal Finishinh [http://www.belmontmetalfinishing.co.uk/])

Seen plenty of BMXs with this finish and it's nice

I have a Ti frame but cannot afford (or find) Ti P2s so may strip them back and get them clear coated professionally, think it would look good
