Bare end plugs ideas

Why not Hope or X-Lite ?

Not sure they'll fit because the diameter at the end of the bar is significantly smaller than the internal diameter, the ends are kinda rolled over.

Well, they use a rubber expansion plug idea, so with the screw slackened right off maybe you could wangle them in past the rolled end ( with a bit of lube maybe )? I haven't got any new ones lying round to look at, but IIRC the diameter of the rubber is significantly smaller than the ID of thin-walled XC bars (presumably to be able to be fitted to thicker walled DH bars?)

Just a thought anyway....

The diameter of the rubber expansion plug on Hope ones is approx. 17mm.

A good idea bar end plugs. As i keep putting my fingers in the bars :shock: Nearly got a finger stuck this morning :shock: :shock: Some thing to do while waiting for the lights to go green
