Ballistic Suspension fork, ever heard of them, any good ?

I can find nothing except a bunch of them were recalled by the manufacturer at some point

IIRC they used to be around the £100 mark when an RC35 would be around the £3-400 mark.

So expect budget and basic.

I bought some carbon fibre EX800a s on Ebay and have yet to get them to work (they were REALLY cheap).

To give them their due they are solidly made.

Will be posting some pics this weekend to see if anyone can tell me how they work.

Carbon Ballistics? Never heard of them before and they look decent enough. Wouldn't mind a pair tbh from looking at that one picture.

Look good work sh1t is what can be said of many older forks even from the respected names.

I have two pairs of the 450 model which other than the carbon looks identical.

They have simple technology comprising of a long elastomer in each leg with no springs. They are super reliable due to simplicity if a little heavy. They offer about 40mm of travel on a good day but you'll only get all that travel if you hit something hard.

I like mine, they're well made and give non suspension adjusted bikes a bit of suspension without upsetting geometry.

Those carbon ones look cool 8)
