Ballistic forks

Hi, Got some-but dont know how good as ive not fitted them yet
Look cool though all chrome with purple ano adjusters.
From memory they had about 50 mm of travel and fit in the mid range
They did have a bunch of forks recalled that were fitted to raleighs in the US.

Cheers

Got the chance of some carbon ones but really want to know if they are any good or compare to anything in quality terms /weight etc... ?

Any idea of the year of manufacturer ? original price etc ?

:)

They did a copy of the Manitous and also one that looked scarily like an RC35.

It think the quality was OK.

Got a set of 50mm travel Balistic forks, bolted and clamped together, chromed appearance, non adjustable.

I find they ride quite well, not managed to bottom them out and theyre quite smooth, they look good and retro.

cheers

I had some carbon ones and they were reet poopy. They cost a fiver and were the Ballistic 800A pro model.

I've gone back to rigid cromo ones - lighter & less to go wrong.

ballistic

My daughter's 24" wheeled Zaskar has one. They do look a lot like early Answer Manitou's. Elastomer but not much travel. All alloy and very light. If your doing them for function I'd think twice if it's for looks on a non rider in your collection go for it
