Baguette top tube

After withdrawing a battered baguette from the panniers, always have to fold it to stop it bouncing out and ending up in a puddle, I quickly reconstructed it to ascertain if I could make a baguette holder to suspend from the top tube of the Roberts Phantom. Baguettes are longer than the top tube of most of my bikes, does this mean I shall have to buy shorter baguettes or buy that Pedersen I've spotted? For now I shall retire to the workbench and cut out the leather holder.

Are we talking about actual baguettes here? As in baguettes baguettes?

The ones that require splitting toasting gently with cheese and parma ham, yum.

Though nice looking, knowing me I'd leave the baguette bag at home, plus with what I'm drawing out on the leather the straps will be able to be used for carrying fishing rod too, in fact if I do it right bottle of wine.
Plus I get to show off my leather working a bit more than the embossed mud flaps I finished yesterday.

With you now. All sounds good, and probably for the best as it seems Baguette Bag owners are irresponsible helmet-less riders with incredible hair, who need a lesson in seatpost height.
