Hey, thanks for the honor!

Speaking of all things retro and Tom Ritchey, I saw Tom today for the first time since the trade show in September. Here in Marin County there is a bicycle charity that has an annual event where they drag out all the old-schoolers like me and my old friends.

In attendance in addition to myself and Tom were Gary Fisher, Joe Breeze, Ned Overend, Otis Guy, Jacquie Phelan, Scot Nicol (Ibis), Alan Bonds, Ross Shafer (Salsa), Mert Lawwill, and a host and hostess of people whose names might be less familiar on your side of the pond.

It's pretty hard to assemble that kind of crowd anywhere else.

The Ritchey is a deserved winner. Although I'm sure you've had far far better 'swag' in your time will sort you out with some retrobike decals if you wish.

Sounds like a pretty cool ride :-D
