Not as fun or as nice as the older Audi's, but my Dads 15 year old A4 B5 1.9Tdi has just had a clean bill of health at its MOT, no rot underneath, 224000 on the clock.

Coupla answers then, LGF yes it's one of those, wish mine was in that condition though! And mine is definitely a 5 cylinder!
al, thanks loads, I'll get more details of the car tomorrow, and I'll pm them over to you, I would take some photos, but I can't get her out of the garage atm so that's a bit of a problem! I'll do my best though! She ended up in the garage as she started to wrong on various things, and as a student at the time I couldn't afford to keep her going, shame really! :-(
not_fat_matt, my coupe is 30 years old this year, so she's no spring chicken, but I'll have to check the mileage, I think it's about 100K, but I'm not sure.
And last but not least, I duck, I know the scirocco was based on the coupe, would any of the parts be any good to you? I'm only looking for a couple of hundred quid, as I know she needs a lot of work doing!

I've always looked at sciroccos and thought they they looked like my baby girl audi coupe, but maybe I'm wrong! Lol!!

The companies do share a number of platforms back and forth. The Audi A3 is built on the VW Fox (Golf) platform, the VW Passat is built on the Audi B8 platform, etc.
