The A6 was never offered with a 4.2 TDi. Even the 2011 C7 A6s will not have that size diesel. (1 2.0L and 2 3.0L engines avail.) Are you sure it wasn't a FSi (direct port injection) badge?

who knows - theres all sorts of models that the UK never get - my favourite being a Mercedes w126 diesel
