I came close to buying a Lavadome off him,but suffered from a lack of funds.
Looks like i dodged a bullet there then!! :shock:
I hope he honours all existing deals and you all get what you paid for in the condition he described.

Buying and selling is a part of the retro scene for certain people - realise a few people use the classifieds for this end. Konamad did take it to an extreme though, however if he had kept his nose clean and not f*cked people around and in that not caused myself and the other mods hassle there probably wouldn't have been a problem.

I've got no beef against the man personally, other than thinking his bikes are ugly. I had discussed a possible sale for a few PMs, the realized this wa the guy who pulled this flipping sh*t on Rody with those Yo decals. To any old chap its wrong, but to Rody, its sin.

I bailed simply for that reason.

There's a reason why I rolled the eyes on his yo aquafade thread a few weeks back (John and Jonrock also)..

All the talk aside this guy just took too many peeps for a ride. I personally sussed him after he PM'ed me for some tyres and then went AWOL :twisted: Not a big deal I know but I had already been reading his feedback. And I was high bidder for 'that' Hot.

Like many others I am sure I believe this site is great because folk on here are passionate about bikes in general and don't take life too seriously as should be the case (as well as spending silly cash against the will of the missus ) People like Konamad only serve to create mistrust and angst which has no place here :evil:

As one of those 'buyer & seller' chaps I've been rebuilding friends bikes for some 20 years - you've all seen what I find down my local recycling centre and car boot sales.

I only sell to fund new parts for my bikes and a beer or two. I only make an extra 10 - 20% if at all on stuff I sell on here.

Its a shame that this guy muddies the water.

I always feel a bit quilty when i ask for money for parts that i do not use

Konamad gave me a track and trace for my merchandise but did not mention the shipper so i still have no clue it is really shipped

Anybody recognize the type of tracking number (shipper?)

Looks like royal mail (but no luck there)
So tried Parcel Force (use similar)
Says it cannot be tracked, though it seems to be the correct place as you alter the first letter and gives a different error
