I'm certainly not trying to look after anyone. It's just a bit cringe-worthy when people make these little 'jokes' about female riders and significant others etc, which, in albeit a fairly minor way, somewhat devalue women's ability/commitment/motives and so on. It'd be nice if this wasn't such a male-dominated environment, and dropping the boys' club attitude would certainly help. Those are my thoughts anyway.
