interesting discussion on another thread makes it clear that on-one's are a love hate thing, so thought a poll might be fun.

Nailing my colours to the mast- I love 'em, great ride, great price and I think they look cool to boot.

What do you think?

I have never ridden one, but always thought they look ok, if a little mass market, but then a lot of things are mass market. Are they MTB's in the sense that i think of MTB's, early 90's XC bikes? They have more of a jump/trails image to me so maybe they ride better for that application rather than riding XC and hence the bad handling reputation?

Tis interesting, can anyone confirm that the design was influenced by the Yo-Eddy? Or was it that BR was a fan of Yo's? I'm trying to think what retrobike they would relate to, not implying that its a Yo, maybe a clockie?

i'm on my second now. crazy value. i think they handle great as long as you compensate for the long top tube with a shortish stem.

i rode my last one xc and fully intend riding this one xc. i do not think they are jump or downhill orientated at all.

i really like them but can understand the haters. for the price i think they take some beating

i have an early slidey inbred
a nice xc type bike
look a bit more dekerf if you ask me on the influence side
but cheap good and different

Anything that good value that gets people riding and enjoying it has to be good. Personally I think all modern bikes are ugly, so won't get into whether or not they look good!

I have one of the first batch of On One 'The Gimp' 's (with the manufacturing error) and for what its worth its the most comfortable jump bikes I've ever ridden.

I feels like a big jump bmx, even with 4" forks on it!

Only bike I dont own that I must own before I'm too decrepit to ride bikes is an Inbred, the geared version although i'd also be happy with the 26er scandal. Poor mans DeKerf and well suited to my lanky proportions without looking like a gate :D
