Still, for the secondhand value of an Inbred you can get something much, much better if you are prepared to buy an older machine.

that is very true as they do command high used prices(my frame sold on ebay for £5 less than a new one)

sooo does anyone know uf they are Yo inspired or have I made it up?

Guess which way I voted?? :D :D :D :D

what is it you dislike about them? just out of interest

Where shall i start
I bought one last winter and built it up as a XC/all day trail hack to keep the old stuff from getting ruined. It had decent bits on it that were later put on another frame so it must have been the frame that was to blame.

I can't help thinking of that dreadful Cheryl Cole advert when I think about On Ones- Weak, Limp, Lifeless. It didn't feel right, it was leaden and clumsy in tight technical stuff, lacked that lovely steel zing and just didn't inspire at all. It was heavy to handle, didn't climb and was average when decending. The top tube length didn't help- even with the smallest sizing it was too long and really steep decending over the saddle often meant a good smack in the nuts. The bottom bracket area flexed like mad when you stomped on the pedals, the rear end was harsh over the ruts and rocks....oh I could go on for days

I know they are cheap but the welding looked like it was done by a blind chimp on acid and the paint fell off it within weeks. Oh and the alignment was poor too.

I definate victory for brand image over product.

Please don't mention them in the same breath you hairy blasphemer

so if you take this ebay sale as typical

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/On-One-Inbred-Sli ... 27af892f3b

what would be better for the money?

Never heard of the yo comparison to long on the top tube non?

What are you saying Si stop mincing about and spit it out, good or bad?

what can you get for the same money that is so much better chris?

Pretty much anything that costs the same price. I'd rather have a P7, for instance.

never tried one but if it is similar to a clockwork frame then I would have the inbred everytime, geo is so much more comfy IMHO and admitidly the frame feels a bit more dull, for me this is not such a big issue, I'm an old biker these days and comfort is king. I think my long gibbon like arms are why I like this bike.

well i like mine
granted it dont have that quality steel zing but it rides nicely and it weighs
nowt
oranges are always odd shaped imo ,short but very long ,the inbred i think
is more in proportion

PANDA skoda ? k/off
