Are old bars of any use?

Just wondering before I put it on the For Sale section, but is it safe to sell my used bar? Have just given my '94 Explosif (don't hiss all you Kona haters) a mid-life upgrade and the skinny Titec bar that came with it is now surplus to requirements.

Although I know how it has been treated (not cut or crashed too badly), it is slightly crimped from bar ends (will miss them) and a little messy from having lights, computers and a bell (have you tried getting pedestrians attention on the Bristol cycle paths?) mounted on it over the past 14 years.

Just seems to me to be a wierd thing to want to buy second hand, or are such bars bomb proof and obvious when damaged? Would not want to sell something that broke 6 weeks later.

i use one set of old bars for twazzing out headset cups, levering tight bolts etc

Ive still got a set of Hyperlights in use from 1991....maybe I'm on borrowed time
