Anyone recognise the make from this headtube badge?

Spotted this bike for sale on my local Faceache

Anyone know the make from this headtube badge? There's nothing else to identify it, nothing on the downtube or seatstays

Rear frame ends are chromed and are forged with adjusters, could be Campag or similar, so not a budget frame

That was a seat tube decal used by Viking back in the 1950s (and possibly later). The decal was available for respray use and still is so it's no indicator of the make of the frame.

Empire Games dates the transfer, but it looks to me like a generic transfer that was widely available.

Thanks, seems like a nice frame with a random decal on it.

Other sources say it's a Viking decal, but maybe not a Viking frame

Who won a world championship on a Viking and who won an Empire Games title on one? Possibly Beryl Burton for WC and Wes Mason for EG?
