I owned those wheels for 4 years after painting and when they were sold they still looked the same.
Just use cans.
Got good money too. Not many 17" 5stud Vauxhall Compos.

Those wheels are a rattle can job????? WOW. I'm impressed.

Did that one a while ago, moved house and the gear is stored, looking forward to having another go.

looks good stew !!

did you decal it ? hows the paint holding up ?

Its still holding up well, there's a couple of chips where it's hit a metal rail or something, as if the primer didn't adhere to the alloy, I had no idea about the age of the primer it could've gone off. Or possibly I sanded the alloy too smooth, or dirty, or oil speck/fingerprint etc.
It's only a small chip and was my test piece anyway. Good practice.

Never got around to decals, I didn't invest in a vinyl cutter. Knocked up a few designs but never printed or masked and painted. another future project.

I also bought a cheap airbrush. Another future project.......

Can't wait to get cracking ...I've done lots of painting but never applied graphics ... Not so keen on applying them myself.
