Anyone got any insight on this frameset?

Thanks Jamie, would be awesome if you could find a reference!

(Assuming it's the same kingbling!) kingbling had the same thought, as he posted on lfgss asking the same thing but to no avail.. https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/254930/

sure it's an English bb as well, making it unlikely to be a tommasini? Along with the Reynolds 753 frame...

Midlife, thanks for your response. It doesn't sound like my 531 frame when I ping it,and i think its too well covered in paint to catch a glimpse of the brazing..

I have seen a couple but the last one I seen was at Hilary Stones. He may be able to help if he still has the photos.
Was that not where this Pat Rohan frame comes from? I thought he had posted this for sale at some stage. Might be mistaken though.
If so it can't be a Tommasini as Hilary would know its origins. Then again if this frame has passed through his hands then he may have some more info or verification of the tubing.
Its certainly a very smart looking frame.
Best of luck with it.

Saba were only made from Columbus Tubing so I think you may have a Columbus tubed frame.... its very intriguing....

Yep, would look that way if that's the case! curious to know how it came to be recognised as a 753 frame.

I've sent Hilary an email, hopefully he's got the time to have a look at the pictures and send a reply.

You could buy SABA branded items like that BB off the shelf. OEM frames had the little men cut outs on the lugs too. The plot thickens :)

I would like to hear Kingbling's opinion, as he owned this frame for much longer than I did and sold it as Reynolds 753 with no uncertainty, maybe he knows something I don't.
