Ok, I gave in, New shower room is being fitted out next week. Can anybody recommend a power shower in the all in one, up to £400 or less hopefully range?

I'm not fitting it and room is being gutted etc so just want a good unit to run off the combi boiler. Mira? Triton? Aqualisa? bristan? help! 10kw?

I know nothing. Currently have a 1980s mira sport. (very retro!) Would be nice to have a bit more oooomph.

Thanks THM

How about this easy to install Nicaraguan Power Shower?:

In Nicaragua, showers are often heated at the shower head (versus in the plumbing behind the wall) by a small electrical converter. If you think it seems like a bad idea to mix electricity and water, it is. Several people each year are electrocuted by these contraptions. Best to shower cold and feel refreshed (and stay alive).

they have these in brazil, they are great fun. you have to turn it off to change the temp and you definitely keep your flip flops on :D

You shouldn't need a power shower, just one of the mixer ones, the Combi should provide enought pressure.
I have a Grohe one, the head has 4 settings, hardest one is like being hit with a birch!!!!
No electricity needed!!!

Would the POWER (said in a clarksonesque manner) make it stronger? Our old one was piddling.
