Any Flite experts? Is this a rare bird?

Hey Gents, I can't find anything about this saddle on the interwebz. Has anyone ever heard of this?

It's a Flite Carbon. It has carbon rails under a standard leather wrapped flite plastic shell. The date code under the nose says 94.

Any help would be appreciated,

Thank you

Its quite rare. it weights 160g
i bought it in 2000 or something and had on different bikes till very recent. There is a design flaw with those carbon supporting metal inserts.
Carbon flexes and after some time they come of..
its not that big deal since they r held by seat post in place, but visually you can see them being bent out..

Its rare in the way that it was the most expensive model, so there were less of them, otherwise it was not anything special.. Just part of their line.

BTW If you want to sell it let me know :D :D

Thanks Gents!
Since posting this I spoke to the gent I bought it from. Turns out he's a saddle collector and was able to shed some light on it for me.
The Flite Carbon was the first ever carbon railed saddle! It was a very limited production run and they were crazy expensive.
It may be the rarest flite of all!

If you have one of these, best hang on to it!
I think it'll be a perfect fit for this build;

Yeah. Definitely not many of them! Rails are very comfortable and tough. I broke one of the rails after a pedal slip/crash during which i landed on the saddle with my whole weight.
rail was a cracked along its length in the central part. I kept riding it for like another 6 years :D
it never got any worse.. maybe a little at the end :D
