Is it possible to run a headunit from one manufacturer with a cd changer from a different maker?

if the lead has the same plug, usually its yes

looking into the depths: sony and alpine match, alpine & jvc, some phillips and blaupunkt

ah, I have a few changers here, I'll see if I kept a sony compatible one.

Think you can get adaptors to run one with another :? I got one to run my old Sony changer with my Ford head unit. not cheap though.
