They're not bad at all. Most of the stock seems to be grey market or ex-OEM stuff, and reports of their customer service are a bit varied, but the problems I've had have been minor, and the prices are often more than enough to make up for it. VTT is their main business, and the road side sometimes seems like an afterthought, but it also means the stock stays around longer.

They used to run an operation called Streak-X in the Paris suburbs, but moved the company to Luxembourg a few years ago. Best bargain I've had from them was an XT/Rhyno Lite 40h tandem wheel for €10 !

OB:retro - they were flogging XT 730 cranksets complete with rings for €30 a pop a few years back. I should've bought five.

Streak X had a really bad reputation in france . the Velo Vert forum has plenty of unhappy clients .

I know there were plenty of complaints, and I have a few of my own - the attitude of the staff at the shop in Clamart was awful - but if you knew what you were after and were prepared to read between the lines, the prices made the occasional problem acceptable. I don't expect five star service for 25% of RRP.

My experience with Fizzbikes has been smooth. In four or five transactions I've had one small problem - a set of chainring bolts came with six inners and four outers. For the €2 I paid, I didn't bother complaining.
