Another Tioga Disk drive

The whole drive side of the wheel has normal spokes laced into it. Unfortunately it picked up some damage (before I owned it) and the owner built it back up with normal spokes, then cable tied the disk to the spokes for cosmetic reasons.

This is mine. As it says, the drive side got damaged and spokes were put in as an easy fix rather than finding the parts needed to fix the disk drive (this was done long before eBay and these forums were around)

does it actually hold tension?

Yes, it's fine. The axle was taken out of it as i needed it for another project, but i ran it for 6 months with no problems before.

Due to the damage i don't see it going for silly money. Only bonus is that it has the bag, manual and tools. I've not seen those for sale before.

I'll have to consider this if mine breaks again though.
