Was looking locally for a bike to flip and this one came up. I do tear every bike down to the frame and replace all cables n housings so was an easy task. I have had and still own a few Stump's but this one is like out of a magazine right down to the fork with the clear boots. Mostly LX group and very stuck shifters as would be expected, easy fix. Started the process to revive this beauty by removing imperfections in the paint using Goof Off or what ever it's called, does wonders as long as you don't spend too much time on a spot. Some Gunk degreaser on a few parts with major grime/grease build up, prepping parts to return to the frame. Not sure if the saddle is salvageable. One side pulled away and has shrunk to where I don't think it can be pulled back to be reglued. Any luck moisturizing leather to stretch and glue? It's a perforated one so seems would be easier than a non perf. I never get the before shots...only ones of as I am going.
