Another project to add to the pile- 1990 cannondale 3.0

bought this sad looking bike for the equivalent of 40 quid today.....

a little bit small at 16" for me, and definitely not needed , but it looked sad, and the owner (from new) was very keen for an "enthusiast" to resto it

a real mishmash of crap bits, but orig. deore thumbies still working well, and it has a accutrax fork....

It's funny to see a C'dale with an accutrax
These 3.0 frames are my favorite!

2 possibilities for a catalog resto :
SM 400 (I think it was an SM400 for the cantilever calipers…)
SM 1000 with deore DX groupo and… ritchey logic fork.
