Hate winter. Please let my 6 numbers come up on Saturday then move to some where hot & sunny on Monday.

2nd day of snow here in Gateshead, we had 1'' early hours of wednesday, 4'' last night/this morning......currently a white out as i type this too!

another 4'' tonight forecast and snowing hard with -1 so far.......

Well, I'd show you a picture from out of the window of my boat, on the mooring where I'm stuck until April that won't allow me to store wood for the (wood only) stove. But I can't, because it's frosted up. And those pictures are making me really miss my little dog, down at the other end of the country. :cry:

yeah, i have been informed snow, friday, saturday and sunday but should be ok after that.

its just means winter will seem alot longer than normal with snow from november rather than january onwards........i should have my snow bike in a few weeks with some luck, so the weather can do what it wants ince thats here

We had a letter from the gas people the other day and for a change were in credit by £ 70 so heating is currently on doing overtime

We've had yet more snow up here today with more forecast to come.., :shock: :roll:

Any more peeps with fresh downfalls.. ?

I have a motorbike to collect this morning, I am hoping the roads are ok it seems just sleet the now.

Got double wheels on the van with new tyres so hopefully will be fine, but I find it is the other road users who get in the way who are the problem.

It was hilarious last year when the "cruise" cars were grounding themselves on the ice chunks that no one else had a problem with.

Look forward to seeing that again.

I love snow. Got out on the bike yesterday in the fresh virgin snow, only a few animal tracks. Fantastic - there's a couple of pics on my flickr ( never worked out how to post them on here when using iPhone) Went for a drive yesterday over the moors above blanchland and edmunbyers, the joys of an Octavia 4x4!

Having said that, I'm at work today, so we'll see what a tail heavy, nose light focus estate is like on summer tyres and blue lights \
