Anodising

Whoa.

I hear that doesnt work too well and will need to be done several times to get an even finish but even then you have to have a good dye and they are hard to come across. You are better taking you parts to a professional anodiser (anodizer if your American/Canadian). Thy have large baths with acid in that they slowly apply the dies too. I can send you the right way depending on where you are in the country.

Please be careful if you do use this method, car batteries can be unstable is you mess around with them and the acid is nasty stuff!

i'm pretty sure i'd burn my shed down or something if i attempted that!

If you want a fantastic Anodising job done contact A1 in Crawley, they are amazing and have done some amazing jobs for my car.

They can offer a mirror polish finish or others if you want. It will also cost you less if you strip the pain yourself so that they need to spend less time doing things like extracting bolts etc.

It could work out cheaper and safer!!!!

Let me know if you want their number. :)

I could do with knowing that number. Do you think that they could do something as big as a frame?
