I want to know as well. I have seen anodised frames before. Some of the high end '07/'08 Giants were anodised and iirc there was a purple anodised Zaskar.

The Zaskar was more of a red than purple, I used to own one back in 98 till early 2000.
I took it to bits and sold it due to getting pi$$ed off with the gearing on it.
I'll try and find the photo and scan it.

I kept the xtr brakes and CK rasta though which I've still got. :twisted:

The company i mentioned earlier is A1 Anodising and is on (01293) 539555.

They will anodise anything, i have just booked in a couple of bikes, a set of cranks and two sets of forks so you will be fine with a frame. They are brilliant and will entertain anything. They will do car parts too and they have been around for at least 20 years. I cant mention them highly enough.

If you are unsure about anything phone them first, but i think you will be suprised and dont worry about price, they are much cheaper than you would think!!!

nice had a stripped out mkII XR2 a few years ago and it was ace, amazing car... also had an immaculate fully original 35,000 miler mkII at the same time, one of the few with the standard steel wheels and wheel covers and not the optional pepperpots which seem to be on most.... paid £400 for that in 2003, probably be 3 times that now? Have a love for those old fiestas, my first car was a C-plate mkII 1.1 Ghia with 25,000 on the clock in 1999, my dad was a ford dealer at the time and it belonged to some old dear that had to give up driving and had it from new, he'd sold it to her new in (1985?)

They would probably post back to you if you arranged with them. They are based on the Manor Royal Industrial Estate in Crawley. They wont do mail order but would entertain anything. I have to say that they can custom make any colour so i would make a visit first!

Worked fine for me with the last bloke who ripped me off for a few bits, didn't anodise him though unless that means render unable to father children
