Certainly looks like a Noleen to me.I need your help… is this an AMP or a Norleen shock?
That hard anodising and the diagonal knurling on the preload ring don't look like AMP.
All the best,
Certainly looks like a Noleen to me.I need your help… is this an AMP or a Norleen shock?
NBI on the spring and that grey color is bog standard noleen. NR1 means no adjustments all the way up to NR4 with rebound and compressionThanks. I contacted Noleen and they told me it's an NR1 with an 8mm shaft.
Thanks for the reply. It is good to know the sacrificial parts are out there. I enjoy diassembling things to see how they work and maintaining them, but not so much scavenging parts no longer available. And eBay sellers don't often know their bikes. It is just in "good working order" regardless of wear if the wheels spin and brakes engage.The DU bushings are sacrificial and are still available. You just need to know the dimensions when ordering. I had a quick look online and found these;

Pivots might be a bit more challenging as the one on my B5 was bend and I had to get a machine shop to make a new one.
