America is a weird place....

but seriously, are there cowboys out there wearing 'that' jacket?

cowboy hats look good, period. I wish I could look as cool as Sam Elliot in one.

I was born and have lived my whole life in Texas and have never seen someone wear a coat like that. If I did I would point and laugh at them if I did see one. :D

Heck in Houston I hardly ever see a cowboy hat. Most of the "cowboy" attire is worn by people who live outside the big cities.

I met a guy from houston when I was in Minneapolis, 'Super Dave'.
He's a legend. And was fascinated by the fact Brit's say 'cheers' at the end of most sentances.

If you can get away with wearing a cowboy hat, I say wear away.

THE Super Dave (Osbourn)? If so, cool

Yeah the cheers thing is a little unusual here in the states. My wife is from New Zealand so I am used to hearing "different" phrases. Hanging around here is almost like being at home. :D

That hat and coat would probably be found on one of the guys in a leather bar in the Castro District in San Francisco.

Those guys in the beefeater costumes are doormen here in San Francisco at the Sir Francis Drake Hotel, I think.
