Pleased to see that you scored your dream bike chap...I've been casually browsing the thread!

Anyways, I've some Grab on MTN-1 foamy grips that you may fancy,NOS and still in packaging, just sat in the filing cabinet at work! They should be perfect for your '91...If I remember the OEM grips at the time were more rounded than hexagonal, in the days before companies started shaving grips down to save weight..


I haven't a picture of mine at hand but they're exactly the same as the ones below. Say £10 posted :?:

Pretty sire my 91 palisades had hexagon style grips, so MTN-2's would be ideal.

The only parts i have left of my palisades is the front wheel and marin rockstar tyre. It had done about 50 miles before going under a lorry (me included) i saw the tyre last month and it looks ok apart from the rim its on being bent as a £9 note.

I only kept it for sentimental reasons!

Might be interested in the tyre if its the skin wall colour not blackwall...

So

Wheels sorted (got a mint pair of black Mavic 231s on XT M730 hubs!) And the stem, but still after a rockstar tyre and maybe the grips depending on whether the above are hex or not...
