Well it needs a bit of a clean so not too high..........
But seriously folks, an amazing specimen. There are probably very few things from 1988 that are as clean as that bike.
The Klein Krazies tend to go for the wacky paint and not the clean early models.

I guess..........$873.90 US$

Hmmm, I will guess far less. I've seen a couple catalog period Mountain Kleins have trouble breaking $500.

True, the last one I saw never made the reserve although it was not near as nice as this one. Still I am betting on it coming in under $800. I listed it a few months ago but I pulled the listing after 1 day. I just was not ready to let it go. I feel more comfortable getting rid of it now, I didn't build it and I never ride it so it holds no sentimental value to me.

Nice bike!

My older-school '85 went for $360-ish frame/fork/BB/headset/seatpost. Add in the other parts and it would be close to $800.....though I kept the DA wheels for my Tam :)

Good luck on the sale, they are sweet bikes!

I had 2 85 Mountain Kleins that I stupidly sold when I was desparate for money a few years back. Both were original with bullmoose bars and they were in even better condition than this one if you can believe it. I am talking pristine showroom never ridden, NOS condition. The large one sold for $1375 and the small sold for $1150. At the time the highest prices ever for a Mountain Klein. They had the original reciepts, catalogs and manuals along with a little tool bag they came withStill wish I had kept the larger one because it fit me nicely.
