Amen to that!

He seems most at ease working on trucks, and is proud of his 100% MOT pass rate on them. Pity he doesn't work on mine, bucket of sh-t I drive!

Am i the only.....

..

could be a northern thing, some folk south of the midlands would be hard pushed to understand him, sometimes. :)

Anyhow, i also like the cut of his jib (northern for he's ok) He's nothing like pretentious and has a certain honesty/innocence about his man on the street encounters and conversations.

You could say 'dyson talking about vacuums'...knows his stuff, rather than some celeb or ex-something pretending to be interested in the auto-cue. More to the point, i'm not sure how the man is walking the earth! The way i've seen his life-less body exiting a fireball, some 10 foot off the ground is just crazy.

Considering his interest in all things engineering, i've often considered contacting him to see if he would like to have a ride round with us. I know he would appreciate the old school. There are plenty of canal-side mills, museums and somewhere to get a drink of tea (his fave).

Just havn't got around to it yet.

Re:

Well, the wheels are in motion!

I'll see what comes back, or how far in my voice will travel.

In one day, pretty short ride actually, we can show guy retro, i mean retro bikes at the Leeds bygone bykes meet. Then through temple newsam to whatever is of interest there, a 900+ year old house is a good start. Then a mainly off-road bimble down to the Leeds-liverpool canal for various other stuff that entails historic bits and bobs to include putty mills and mining areas that are now nature reserves. Fish and chips, tea. That's just top of head stuff.

And he rides an orange! Appreciates hopes' products. And, if he wants to try his orange around oranges' manufacturing origins, halifax, holmfirth, calder valley...we can do that too.

Re:

Good work Mark!

Bloody long drive from south coast , but who knows

Only have American bikes too :( Or French, which is even worse!

Maybe,

Mike
