am i seeing things?

I may go for this, do a quick filter session and deposit anything of zero worth into the local tip for LGF to find later and then go on to show me the ones I chucked out were the ones worth keeping! 
Only thing I'm worried about is i'm meant to be getting rid, not expanding the bike collection at the moment due to moving.

Is it a bad idea to suggest splitting the cost and bikes between us?
I was thinking about it, -I'm only really after 1 or 2 out of the lot and would probably flog a couple of the Apollo's to cover my fuel, but I've counted nearly 20 bikes that I can see and I don't think I'll get them all in my truck!

The appolo's yeah fine, if you can flog em go for it. Personally I dont have an efficient outlet for such things, other than the local recycling centre.

Seller's not the sharpest tool in the box though. I asked if he had a list of what he had and his reply was:
"hi, they all come from a police auction - some really good ones with suspension both sides - some with extra gears, etc.. I am not a cyclist so dont know anything technical. open to offers on job lot!

You could go looking through police websites for ages.
To be honest, ebay alone takes up all my time (and money!) but here's one I spotted down this way..

Im currently in negotiations with mrs Puceflange, looks like we will make an appereance (sp) at this for a rummage and a purchase or two, looks like throughout the piles of bikes there might be a wee gem or two
