Funny, i've never worn a Kilt in my life, only felt the need to headbut someone when i was in Norfolk.

Powdercoat

I was watching that, even though a bit big for me its a good buy at that money, even with a powdercoat.

Pinks fine, as long as your confident in who you are. If not £50 quid to powdercoat, cant lose either way.
A good way to fix would be to airbrush some mid blue palm tree's so it looks like a Hawaiin shirt

I'd go with pink everything If anybody questions your masculinity I find a flying headbutt does the trick
Anyway your a big butch welder like me so obviously nothing to worry about.
