Aluminium Orange MTB

Wonder if anyone can help with Model identification for those Orange experts.. on this one appreciate its a newer 2003 bike..

Contacted orange from the frame number and looking at the style they seem to think its a Sample Clockwork Orange from 2003 and originally sold to Stif Cycles.

Does this seem right? to me looks similar more to an Evo2 than a Clockwork... any thoughts.

Not sure it'd be as late as 2003 without disc brakes? Looks more like a mid 90's E2 or E3 to me.
