Alu and Ti bolts/nuts/screws

I know about the snap-away for rear mech, but to be honest that came about from weight weenie must haves and snap away was a get out clause for the fact they would snap and so they could make a selling point

not strictly true,they were designed for expensive alloy frames with non replaceable dropouts(ARC's etc) would snap the bolt instead of bend the dropout

It's for the quill bolt, used to have a Ti bolt there before see no problem it it.
Had Ti bolts on the brake bosses for year, still perfect. Just don't buy cheap no-name stuff.. if it's good enough for a high end motorbikes it'll be fine for my bike

yup, I use the SRP alu 1s on all my bikes with non replacement mech hangers.
