Alpinstars Al-mega XT????

Hey there, I came across this bike and ended up buying it. Can you ell me a little bit about it. I really like the bike and I think I might want to restore it. So question I have is, It seems like a mountain bike, how much crap can I put it through? If restored what is the bike worth(I will most likely keep it) cant take it to college with me though Logged close to 45 miles on it this weekend and really like the bike!!! I want to make it look nice, I think she deserves it All Deore XT parts btw. Thank you in advanced!!!!

Looks like a 1992 AlMega XT to me.

Should ride lovely (mine did when I owned one)

As for value, hard to tell from that picture alone.

they are not bulletproof, not many bikes of that era were but having said that, wher we were young a mate had one and did everything on it.

they climb really well
