I see your in the New Forest...I'm in Chandlers Ford any good ride recommendations?....

the forest is ok, not really very technical though but good for an xc blast. isle of wight ride on the 13th of may

It may be worth your while to get the Nitromoors on it when you get it back so you can suss the extent of the damage, then explore the possibilty of having collars welded on it??

Cleaned up and repainted (or polished?) they look perfectly okay...

You want to try Lordshill near Southampton the kids have been over there and built some top trails with allsorts on offer! Not a massive area like the Forest but very challenging/enjoyable! I say kids as I'm 37!

Probably a stupid idea but could you not chop most of the original headtube off leaving a nice section around where the tubes are welded to it then, leaving a sort of cradle/gusset section where a new head tube could be welded to? Would change the dimensions and angles of the bike a bit. Stoooopid or not?
