Alpinestars Al Mega DX - what to do ....?

Hi


Just bought another Bucket Frame Frame of mine by accident :facepalm: Alpinestars Al Mega DX - 1991 ?
Frame has no dents /cracks etc but the paint and decals are in a pretty bad way ....
Frame should arrive in next days

My options for the frame so far are the following but can not decide :facepalm: ... :

Leave frame as it is and build it up and just ride it !!
Spray Frame White and add decals
Spray Frame Black and add decals
Spray Frame White / Neon Yellow and add decals

Planning on building the bike as a Singlespeed bike for around town as I do not have a single speed and quite like the ride...
It will be a winter project so have time with this build

Option n.1:
Leave frame as it is and build it up and just ride it!!

With skin wall tires and silver components!! I love the Alpinestars's frames!

Tempted with Option 1 ...Then see if I go with another option
Unfortunately no Skin wall tires but have a nice set of black ones lined up for it

check the bars for damage /cracks tho , they are very fragile

Find era correct parts with a level of wear that matches, build and ride. In this case, I'd say tired surface finishes but not massively knocked about, from the looks of that frame.

The frame will only ever be original once.

No shame in a few wrinkles from experience.
