Hi guys, been a while since I've been on here.
I'm looking to upgrade from my commuter/bike packing bike (my 700c converted voodoo wanga) and simultaneously replace my 1980s British Eagle Reynolds 531 retro mod road bike. I do very little road cycling, so a gravel bike with road wheels/tyres would be adequate for any road days I do.
I find myself torn between an All City Space Horse frameset for £550 or holding out for a custom built frame from Armour in Edinburgh, which will set me back closer to £2000 depending on how much of a tart I want to be.
I could possibly even buy the Space Horse as a stop gap as most of the kit (wheels, brakes, etc) Will be interchangeable with the spec of the custom frame: 12mm thru axles, flat mount brakes etc.
Help me choose!
