Isn't that red anodising and not lacquer over polished metal / chrome?

Shaun beat me to it! Alan frames are alloy, so it will be anodised (which is good, as it won't flake off as cromovelato will, but slightly bad is anodising, especially red anodising, tends to fade over time)

ouch yes , sorry , in current italian Language the word "cromovelato" is related to STEEL , equally to ANODIZED related to alloy.
That's anodized , correct

i think it's could be a visual distortion.
In the first pic you can see the frame by right side , and the tube is completely straight , and i can confirm it having here.
Hope that your visual distortion not make me a trapper .
