ahh I recon just some rusty old Rocky...

Re:

Wow…only in Canada, eh?

I'm loving that - patina central! Just needs a slightly worn white Turbo saddle to finish it off IMO... 8)

Re:

sweet! just happened to have the "right" stem already in hand. must be nice! that stem matches perfectly!

Ahh right, fillet brazed not welded...got to get my terminology correct. Looks great so far! I'm still wondering what the DL stands for, or what the difference is between this and a regular Thunderbolt?
Yes, a few of these gems are left for dead here in Canada, it's sad but it sure makes for a good day when you find one! Last year I found and 94 Blizzard next to the garbage bin. Funny thing it was in better condition than the one I currently own!
Looking forward to seeing more updates!

Re:

Hey guys, thanks for the compliments! I love the fact that this bike obviously treated many people really well for years with them having no idea the beauty that was between there legs.

I definitely lucked out have a matching stem... Threw on a Ti bar for good measure's.

Mynchiboy, I 100 percent agree on a slightly worn white turbo, would have robbed it from another bike for this one If I had it...

I have been pondering what the DL could stand for, from what I know I think they did the DL model for tantalus as well?

Here's a few more shots of the fillet brazing and logo's.
