Aero Garbage Wind Resistant a lie

Seen a handful of these over the years commuting and I always worried about the visual aspect of them...
If the nut at the wheel cant see an adult sitting on a bike or even a crotch rocket what chance do they have of seeing Fido Dido in lycra there?

Crunch and one speedbump later a statistic is increased plus one and their trendy sunglasses didn't nothing to help...

They sometimes have flags on a fibre glass stick (is that still a thing?) sticking up from the back though. Must get a lot of fumes though. Can't be healthy being that close to the ground.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all. The Diamondback Andean. Possibly the first time this has ever graced Retrobike.

Did anyone discuss how much additional benefit there is to aero in a 20mph head wind?

I owned one of these, burrows windcheetah, for a while

Designed by the same man as @Scott-S folder.

Unfaired, still very slippery.

I remember riding in the fast lane on the a38 downhill into Farington Gurney, overtaking 50mph traffic.

I also flipped it once attempting some sort of Immelmann turn.
Different road rash to normal.🙄

They suit:
flattish terrain with smooth tarmac and good visibility.

They don't suit:
hilly country with hedgerows and potholes.

I favour the latter,
so it was sold on after a couple of years.
