Judging from the picture of him he has a sense of humour. Obviously a fast man.

Met Derek several times during races back in the 80’s & he’s an extremely laidback easy going gentleman but was built like a track sprinter so immensely powerful.. you certainly wouldn’t want to get on his wrong side…….he had many a battle with the Welsh great John Pritchard whose another gentleman…..

Seen a handful of these over the years commuting and I always worried about the visual aspect of them...
If the nut at the wheel cant see an adult sitting on a bike or even a crotch rocket what chance do they have of seeing Fido Dido in lycra there?

Crunch and one speedbump later a statistic is increased plus one and their trendy sunglasses didn't nothing to help...
