Adroit Strata fork

Dang!! ALMOST won this today. It's actually probably a good thing because it's an MC1 Strata fork and I don't have an MC1 frame yet. It pays to check the "Misspellin Special" link in Auction Watch every now and again though - this listing was under "Klien" and I'd never have seen it otherwise.

You know what sucks? I missed it too. I live only 2.5 hrs from Havasu... I even used to live i that shithole town. To think that was hiding there the whole time!

I'm wondering what happened to the frame that the fork was attached to. If it's in the same condition as the fork, there could be another $4K Adroit sale on eBay like that black one a few weeks ago.

That price was an absolute steal!
Last year people would have sold their grandmothers if they could get their hands on a Strata but probably this year the global recession is pressing the prices down.

It went cheap because some people cant spell something they've owned for 20 years...

I don't think many people who collect vintage bikes are being adversely affected by the recession.

Darwins theory - "if you're stupid, you will die". That spelling mistake cost him at least $250, maybe more. Still somebody else will benefit when it gets flipped

that cost him dearly i would have paid the earth, and yes the grandmother would have went plus the misses.

hmmm, not sure there, he spelled "adroit" correctly, but indeed pretty cheap and all of us wanted to pay more of course
