There are far too many extraditions to the u.s. which are questionable, this isn't one of them.

Indeed, the European Court of Human Rights have decided there is nothing wrong in him and his cronies potentially spending the rest of their days in solitary confinement!

i laughed when i heard his lawyer saying " but if they tey him over in america then he'll never get out"

just remember if he stays here and gets out he'll be given a huge house for him and his family to live in whilst on benefits and he'll have police watching after him 24/7  if he hates this place that much you'd think he'd be happy to go on a long trip to america

i for one will be happy knowing he's doing life (for the rest of his life , not like here) going mad staring at a wall 8)

Whilst I welcome the movement on this case I do question why those charged with committing crimes in the UK are not being prosecuted here.

The British citizen, held in custody without charge for 8 years for running a UK based website, from his London address is now being shipped to an ultra high security facility in the US where solitary confinement is a normal practice.
Why is our legal system not able to handle this individual.

I am also more than slightly concerned about the precedence this sets for cases such as that of hacker Gary McKinnon or alleged illegal battery dealer Christopher Tappin.

It isn't unheard of for powers to be abused and freedoms to be overlooked, both the US and the UK can offer historic testimony to that.

Sorry to dampen the flag waving, air punching, whooping celebratory spirit around here. I just think in this victory, we have potentially lost something.

I agree. The UK needs to practise what it preaches around the world, (sometimes with a stick). A fair trail, not held without charge and innocent until proven guilty, these are the principles of our society and witch burning is not the way forward.

The amount it cost ££££ would have been cheaper for him to have had an 'accident' and been RIP in true MI5, CIA, MOSAD style. Like a nice 'hit & run' car accident.

A bit obvious? A dose of the crabs should kill him off in a more comedy way!

I wonder if he ever lost an alarm clock ? ................

Don't care where he ends up. As long as he is treated appallingly. Don't want to be tortured? Don't preach terrorism.
