Rather controversial topic. The idea that we send people to the USA to receive justice is a little odd; given how little regard the US system has for human rights.

I reckon we ought to be looking at international courts trying some of these cases, and deciding where best incarceration might take place.

I'm not convinced the fallout from such an "accident" would be cheaper in the long run.

I see highlandsflyers point, maybe shipping him off to a less involved country in europe, and the international court for any action would be a better option all round.
