The idea was to give these very sad looking Klein frames a new lease of life but since my daughter was born last year I just don't have the time or the inclination at the moment. So I've decided to sell and see if someone else can give the time and money needed to bring these sorry framesets back to life.
1989 Klein Pinnacle Elite, size 22". This frame is again in poor cosmetic condition, the backfire paint scheme is very faded. There is a lot of chainsuck marks and scrapes and their looks to be a very small crack developing around the bottom of the seat clamp slot. Frame has a chainstay U-brake mount and comes with an XT headset and original steel forks. Installed bb bearings seem smooth. Will make a great restoration project. £125 SOLD
A pair of 19" 1993 Klein Attitudes. The frames are both is a sorry state. The Gator Fade has a stuck seatpost and I have tried in vain to remove it but have had no success. Maybe someone with better skill and better resources may be able to remove the reminents of the seatpost? Other than that the frame is tidy, no cracks that I can see and some very minor dings on the top tube (I tried to photo but they are ver shallow and didn't really come out in the pic). All the cable exits are good but the paintwork is very tires and there is lots of bubbling. The red frame is again in a poor cosmetic way and the cable exits all seem to have been enlarged. The two bottle bolts on the underside of the downtube are rounded off so would need drilling out. There are two MC1 bar/stem combos, one gator, one red and they are in good structural condition with tired paint. Both are 130mm long stems and the bars are 580mm wide. There is also a nice set of UniKlein forks again paint is poor but structural condition is good and there is a gator Mag 21 crown. The Mag 21 crown seems in good order but the paintwork is bad. Also included are two anti chainsuck plate assemblies and two sets of headset seals.
Looking to sell as a job lot only (no splits so please do not ask), all the parts as pictured for £550. SOLD
