Just been making chilli using scotch bonnet peppers! I must have had a small cut on my hand because soon after I'd finished cutting them up it feels like I've dipped it in acid!

I was making thai fish cakes once and got the red chilli I chopped for the dipping sauce in my eye.........ermmmm............nice..... :x

I can feel your pain......

 reminds me of one of the best TV moments, when mikey on big brother ate one whole!

Reminds me of the time I got the wrong tube out of the bedside locker in the heat of the moment.

Why oh why was the deep heat in the same drawer?

I was in Chutney's once with a bunch of mates and I was showing off by eating the hottest thing they had, apparently I turned some kind of green/grey colour.

One of the best eateries in London, by the way.

im not sure how that beat the record as this is 16million scoville
http://www.hot-headz.com/chilli-sauce/pure-pepper-extracts/blairs-16-million-reserve/

what a-hole would eat that!why?!

what A-hole would pay £300 for a bottle of it lol

also just noticed that sauce may be 16 million on the scale but i don't think it's made from a singular type of chilli.

where as the infinity is classed as the worlds hottest chilli.

with a little bit of research capsaicin is the stuff that makes chillis hot, and that stuff is pure capsaicin so that would explain it.
